‘How do I fund my startup’?
When it came down to planning our Start Up Your Startup event, we knew we wanted to talk about funding and finance. The question was how to go about it.
After a lot of conversations internally and with our event partners, we came to the agreement that what people are really looking for isn’t generalized information. It’s specific answers to their specific questions. Ultimately, we decided that instead of following the beaten path and having a selection of experts across the spectrum of angel investment, venture capital, and traditional funding give individual presentations about startup finance, we would invite the speakers to sit on a discussion panel. This alternative format will allow our attendees to steer the conversation toward topics that are most relevant to their exact needs and situations.
Our Startup Funding Discussion Panel will be anchored by Rick Holton, Jr. (General Partner of Holton Capital Group and Cultivation Capital), Scott Levine (Managing Partner of AEGIS Financial Services and iSelectFund), and Mark Rosenkranz (Branch Manager at U.S. Bank) will answer event attendees’ most pressing questions about new business finance. Discussion will be moderated by serial entrepreneur and startup expert, Paul Heirendt. Paul is pulling double-duty as a speaker earlier in the program.
