WordPress Website Hosting Upgrades
One thing we love about the web is how it’s always changing and challenging us to keep up. An area that sees a whole lot of change fast is Hosting. Because hosting is so closely tied to security, it is crucial for us to make sure our offerings are top-notch.
Longtime Blayzer clients may recall that before 2015, we hosted everything — websites, email, apps, databases, content, and much more — on-site on our own servers. In 2015 we made the jump to our very first Virtual Private Cloud, which brought greater flexibility, speed, and security. We have continued to advance our cloud hosting environment since then, including a migration to a brand new cloud earlier this fall.
In late October our company leaders took a big trip down to Austin, Texas to check in on our new cloud at the offsite data center. It was a great chance to get some face time with people we speak to nearly every day, and our nerd brains nearly went into hyperdrive learning about all the great next-gen technology keeping things running smoothly and securely.
With this latest cloud migration we have taken a big leap forward with only a small change in price (from $25 to $30 per month for our standard WordPress hosting services). We can’t give away all of our security secrets here in public, so please talk to your account manager to learn more about the details.
